There are Production Building and Administration, Canteen and Dressing Room Building with 9,000sqm.
The Production Building is made of prefabricated concrete elements, of pillars and beams.
The continuous roof, with 60 m of one-way slope, was a solution to the factory’s own dust-filled atmosphere problem that would clog any gutter.
The strategy was adopted that the glue would help seal the roof and the speed of the water resulting from the torrential and regular rainfall of the region would help to clean the excess glue deposit. The time proved the correctness of the proposal. The solution of the roof with the slope below the advisable for this type of tile had to be approved by Eternit.
Shading is a requirement of such a hot, but ventilated, climate that, together with the window openings in both sides, thermally regulates the manufacturing environment.
The building of Reception, Administration, Canteen and Dressing rooms are provided with “brise-soleil” in concrete due to the strong local insolation.
