House Ricardo Garcia Arribas – Mijas – SPAIN / 1973

It was time of “democratizing winds” in which the young Spaniards wanted a new future, post dictatorship.
It was an opportunity to incorporate new elements into the local architectural vocabulary.
“Corner windows”, cylindrical body of the bathrooms, metallic pillars of the structure of a circular room, with plantbeds built in masonry incorporated into the architecture.
This is one of the rare regions of Europe where flowers are enjoyed year-round.
It is the Landscaping incorporated to Architecture, a landscape filter.
